I have been in town for the last few days visiting family, and we bought a few groceries for the week. Unfortunately much of what we purchased was of low quality as it had clearly been allowed to thaw and then re-frozen. We bought mulitple bags ofbfrozen produce that was a solid block of ice and you could feel the frost through the bag. We also bought some vegan ice cream sandwiches that were total mush. I have purchased these elsewhere many times and I am familiar with their normal state. It was so obvious that these had thawed completely and then been re-frozen. I am hoping these were isolated incidents but the fact that so many of the products we bought were in a such a sorry state that it makes me wonder... Anyway, I was born and raised in Modesto and have been to this store many times over the years. What happened?

I had a Turkey Panini sandwich from here today. Absolutely amazing, one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. 10/10. Shout-out to the artist who prepared mine and my wife's sandwich. She did an amazing job!👍

Shocked at the service here today. We’ve been shopping at this O’briens for years with no issues. Not sure if everyone was just having a bad day (seemed like there was some drama ongoing) but I’m incredibly dissatisfied. The deli questioned my sandwich topping choices, a very simple and straightforward request for no veggies. Sometimes a girl doesn’t want veggies on her sandwich! Not a crime, yet, the deli employee acted like she had no idea what I meant by “no veggies please” and loudly asked me twice to explain myself in a rude and condescending manner. On top of that, the cashier essentially tossed my bag down on the counter causing it to fall over. Won’t be coming back, service at the other location on Dale is much better.

Okay, its very organized and clean. Theres not a whole lot of people. The only thing that would make this place more amazing is if the prices weren't so high! Oh and the deli sandwiches are much better than subway I feel like they are healthier in a way. And much cheaper.

I got to there had to use the restroom and the grocery attendant was polite and told me where to go. The owner butted in and told me I needed a code which was really hopeful. We shopped and had a O'Brien $20.00 voulcher and we used a credit card and did the difference. The cashier's we're patient and helpful also. The customers seemed more impatient then the workers. The store suggested opening more registers to help the ease of the process. Overall I like coming here we even noticed They have quest chips the healthy ones so we will be going back.
